Don’t Get Confused

I just finished conducting my Income List Booster workshop over the last 2 weeks. The feeling I get after conducting these two workshops is exhilarating and I definitely need a good rest before I get started on the next one.
There were a total of 56 participants from all walks of life. You can imagine different kinds of people you will meet, both young and mature, all with their own agendas waiting to get started with their Internet marketing business.
Despite their differences, I’m sure there was one thing everyone has in common - they want to make it big online and achieve financial freedom.
However, the workshop had several challenges and one of the biggest obstacles I’ve seen so far is the confusion from listening to too many people at once.
This is unfortunate because they absorb information from too many sources and even good, legitimate sources can also lead to confusion as the business direction and focus are all different.
For me, my philosophy is very straightforward – making money online is really quite simple.
All you need to do is follow the mentor you have chosen and follow him closely – just do exactly what he tells you to do and follow it to the letter.
You don’t want to learn from too many different mentors – one is enough! Can you imagine if one marketer tells you to do AdSense, while another tells you to build a list and ignore search engine optimization?
Or if one tells you to spend money on AdWords while another tells you to stay away from paid advertising and focus on free traffic?
I think we get the idea – the amount of chaos when you jump from one business model to another.
You have to remember one thing at the end of the day, focus really pays off. You can take one step in every direction but you will only wind up in the same spot.
On the other hand, by following a single mentor, he or she will lead you by the hand, step by step towards the ultimate goal of success.
Even if you take slow baby steps, at least you are focusing on ONE direction and you will get there eventually.

Jaz, couldn’t agree more. There are soooo many distractions available when you are involved in marketing on the internet [for what ever reason]. Your day can disappear very rapidly if you loose focus. Your advice to find a mentor and follow the coaching they give to the letter is very sound.

With this post you are definitely on the mark. There is truly a lot of information being spread around the internet today and it has benefits for several people. The one thing that people need to understand is that they can not be all things to all people. This will always be one of the great challenges to new internet marketers .

Thank you Jaz and team, I am very thankful to all of you, I will be using the lead capture strategy taught by Jaz. Yes, I do agree that focus is the way to success, and I will be using what Jaz taught to succeed. I will be doing article submission for month of March, then give away on April, video marketing on May, PPC on June.

Great point about information overload. You can definitely accelerate your progress by focusing on one thing at a time, becoming proficient at it, and then moving on the the next, not doing everything at once.
