Building An Online Asset

If someone were to ask you, what is the greatest asset in your internet business… What would your answer be?

Most well-known marketers would most definitely tell you that their list of customers’ email addresses, is their greatest asset.

Why?

So they can continue to sell stuff to them over and over again, without worrying about finding new customers all the time. And that is the beauty of it.

Well, you may have heard about the incredible stories of some marketers who demonstrated their uncanny ability to create massive windfall of commissions with just a click of the mouse; live, in front of the crowd…

I’m telling you, my friend… this is possible.

And you too, can possess this same ability.

Now, allow me to show you what goes on behind the scenes of this magical phenomenon.
You see, the “illusion” of creating a massive cash flow with just a click of the mouse requires some preparation way before hand.

The only difference between this and an over-glamorous magic trick is that… this is not a trick at all.

The first step is to build an asset first - a list of customers’ email addresses, that is.

You will need to have a lead capturing webpage, also known as a squeeze page, in order for you to do that.

The challenging part to this is how you actually get people to “want” to opt-in to your list with their email addresses.

One of my favorite ways is to give away a special bonus for free in return of their email addresses! But that’s not all.

You’ll still need to make your free-gift irresistible that it’s too good to refuse.

Here are 5 ways to make your free gift more enticing.

1. Show them the benefits - Tell them about the advantages they can get from your free gift… (you could give away an e-book, a video, special report, discount voucher… etc)

2. “Sell it” at a very high price - Let your customers know the true value of your book if it was to be for sale. But of course, you are giving it to them for free. (People love huge bargains)

3. Entice your customers with visuals - Let them have a glimpse of what they are getting… It could be an image of a training video, an e-cover or a dvd… etc.

4. Set a time limit for your free offer - This creates a sense of urgency in your customers to want to take action immediately. Normally, I’ll set the timer to a few minutes and I’ll inform them that if they don’t decide while the timer is ticking, the offer will not be made to them again.

5. Exercising scarcity – Set a limit to the number of copies you are giving away for free. People are afraid of missing out. The fear of loss also encourages your customers to take action fast.

Agreed with you that the email list is an asset for online marketers. We need to capture email list and follow up with them to build relationship and trust with them! Once your list trust you then the money will come!

    To your success,
