Affiliate marketing for example is very popular, however, you may be surprised to know that very few succeed in this business. The reason is simple; this occurs because many fail to build a relationship with their sites visitors.

Building a webpage is one thing but converting traffic to sales is quite another. Traffic in essence is not the problem, it is getting that traffic to convert to sales that becomes the issue. Additionally very few of us buy from people we do not know. In order to make more conversions you need to build a relationship with your visitor that builds trust and credibility.

The next challenge that arises is how to get people to opt into your list This is especially an issue if you are an affiliate. Since you do not own the product what information can you provide that will benefit your reader.

There are a couple of approaches you can use to overcome this problem. One is to build a squeeze page that addresses your visitor’s needs and offers them free information that they can apply to address their challenge immediately.

Remember always focus on the fact that people are not interested in products or services they are interested getting results fast. Second, you can review the product you are promoting in detail so as to help your visitor make the best decision for them.

When reviewing a product be honest and forthright. Your job is not to sell but to pre-sell by providing factual information that can be backed up by proof. Hype in this case never works because as we all know nothing is perfect.

By the way, the best way to do this is by providing results based upon your experience of applying the techniques relevant to the product. This will build credibility and trust and show to your readers that you are genuinely interested in them achieving their goals

Along with this you can add video. This takes the element of credibility to another level plus your reader will become more engaged. If you can share a simple tip that your visitor can use right now to get results then they will be far more likely to trust the recommendations you make moving forward.

The closer you move your visitor to their objective, the sooner they will buy form you. When they see results for themselves their whole mindset changes and they are far more apt to buy from you. Always keep in mind that none of us like to give up our hard earned money easily and you need to understand what your reader is trying to achieve and address that directly.

One of the ways you can do this is to provide them with a link to a web page that asks them specifically what their number one concern is and offer them a free report that will address this issue.

After all, you can create a report based upon this information and along with it a solution that will benefit your visitor. Hence you make more sales by understanding your market.

To conclude, keep it simple and work smart not hard. Put yourself in their shoes and address their needs and as result you will effortlessly make money.
