Case Study: It Doesn’t Cost Me Anything To Sign Up 10 New Members Per Week

I am a firm believer that if you want to truly succeeds and grow a strong team with able leaders in your network marketing business, beside online recruitment and online training, you need to put in offline events as well to motivate your team members.

Offline business opportunity workshop is also very effective to sign up lots of people. This is especially useful and appeals to those members who are not very good with online recruitment methods.

Few days ago, I did an online lead generation campaign to get more people to my weekly network marketing business opportunity workshop.

Every week I can continuously bring in about 10-15 new prospects to our workshop and I can usually close about 50-70% of them.

But for the average members, I notice that most of them have problem inviting 4-5 prospects, let alone hoping that they will turn up.

Most are really happy if 2 of their prospects turn up at our business opportunity workshop.

I found out that a lot of people are struggling with this and that’s why I decided to write this post to show you how I did it. I am personally writing this post, so excuse my poor Grammer.

My aim for the leads campaign that I did is to get interested leads to attend my workshop.

One of the key point about generating leads online is to have a very clear direction about what you want your prospects to do and your squeeze page have to be very focus about your objective.

The main key here is how tight your objective is in your squeeze page and how personal is your email.

My objective is very clear right from the start.I wanted to give away a valuable book in exchange for their contacts. Once they register for my free book, I will give them the download link through email and invite them to attend my money making workshop.As we know video is a very powerful way to communicate with your prospects, that’s why I did not have any headline or bullet point text to divert their attend away (but I did show my house and sports car : )

I recorded a short 1 minutes introduction video that tells my prospects how they can receive my book for free.

I specifically explain that to receive my book which contain my secrets, they need to register their email address on the right panel. <- this is my call to action and this sentence is very important.

I went on to pay $43 to advertise in a local Paid-To-Read email services and expose my site to 1000 visitors. Out of these 1000 visitors, I receive 145 prospects who registered at my squeeze page.

So I am effectively paying $0.29 cents per leads as of the first 24 hours.

As this is only the first 24 hours, leads will continue to pour in within the next few days and I believe I should hit 200 leads by then. My cost per acquisition will also be much lower.Here’s a few place you can use to advertise your squeeze page.

Once my prospects optin to my squeeze page, they can receive the download link together with an invitation to my money making workshop.The trick here is to create a very personal email and not hype up to much. Below is an example of the email I send out…

Oh, I forget to mention to you that my business opportunity workshop is not free, everyone have to pay $5 to attend. So if I can get 10-15 prospects to pay and attend the workshop, this effectively mean that I can cover back my costs of the advertisement to these group of prospects.

Look at the number of people who reply to my email.

Out of these 19 responses, statistic proof that half of them will turn up for my business opportunity workshop and this is only for the first 24 hours and over the course of the next few days, I should receive more email responses.As I mentioned above, I should be able to close about 50-70% of these prospects if they turn up for my workshop. So I can safely say that I can sign up 5-7 new members during every workshop.…but of course this won’t happen consistently as it is almost impossible to advertise every week for the rest of your network marketing career. The program I advertise in will definitely run out of leads unless their growth is consistent.

The best results I found out is to advertise monthly or bi-weekly.

What I can do instead, to get more people to attend my weekly workshop is to build relationship with the rest of the 120+ leads that did not response.

If I can get 20 of them to response to my email every week, I definitely can maintain a sign up rate of 5-7 new members per week.

Offline recruiting if done the right way is as powerful as online recruiting. You may not be able to sign up 100 new personal sponsors at the click of the button, but you can consistent sign up new members week in week out.
