Getting More Traffic to Your Network Marketing Blog: Part 2

Okay, in the last post, we discussed the importance of using a good tracking software to gauge the effectiveness of the traffic that you generate to your mlm blog. Without such a measure in place, you are not effectively leveraging the traffic to your site. In this post, we will discuss sending traffic to your network marketing blog via forums.

If you do a search from any of the major search engines for mlm or network marketing forums, you will find thousands of them out there. Not only are these forums a great way to funnel traffic to your mlm blog, but you may also pick up some valuable pointers on how to make your network marketing business more effective also.

The first thing that you want to do when looking for network marketing forums to participate in is to make sure that the forum you are considering is an active forum. After all, it is no good posting in a forum that no one visits. After, you have established that the forum is active, you will need to register or participate on the forum.

Okay, so you have registered to participate in an active forum. Now what? Well, participate, of course. However, you want to be careful to NEVER spam the forum - this is considered bad etiquette and is frowned upon. It will get you nowhere fast in promoting your network marketing business. If you have a question about network marketing, by all means, the forum is the place to ask it. If you can provide an answer to someone else’s question, that is even better - the more questions that you can answer, the more you begin to appear as an expert to others on the forum. This is what they want.

The great thing about forums is that they allow you to have what is called a ’signature’. This is what is going to generate traffic to your mlm blog. Your ’signature’ is kind of like the resource box of the network marketing articles that we discussed in previous postings. You NEVER want to try to make a direct sale from your signature - you just want to entice them to the squeeze page on your website where you can capture their information and gently persuade them that your offer is worthwhile.

If you participate in a number of forums each day, you will be surprised at how much traffic you generate over time. There are actually folks who rely only on forum traffic to generate sales for their products. So posting in forums is definitely a worthwhile activity, and it will only cost you an hour or so each day.
