An MLM Recruit is one of the most essential elements of success in any MLM business. If you fail to recruit, you might not find the success you are wanting when you join the business. Therefore, it is necessary to learn how to recruit in order to really find more success in your business ventures. Recruiting does many different things for you.
First, recruiting may help you rise in the ranks of the MLM business. Second, as a good MLM recruit, you will find that your income actually increases with each new recruit, as well as their recruits, depending on the downline structure of the company. So, how can you learn to recruit like a pro in MLM Well, there is no exact science, though many people would like you to believe that there might be. The main thing is the company you are representing.
The company should be able to sell itself essentially. Of course, you will need to help sell it and recruit new affiliates or consultants, but the only real way to gain recruits is to represent a company that provides a solid, reliable, and needed product or service. If you represent a company that offers none of these in its product or service line, then recruiting will definitely be difficult.
Many people make the critical mistake of telling their potential customers about their opportunity first. This means they are telling customers about their company and what the company can do for them. This almost always leads to the question of how much money you make. This is the point where many people lie, exaggerate, or tell the truth. This could lead to a negative outlook. Furthermore, each consultant or affiliate is different, no person makes the same amount.
Your MLM recruit could make more or less than you or other people within the company. Therefore, it is always best to let your services or products do the talking for you. Of course, you can by all means boost your products. You can tell them exactly what your products or services are about, how they can help their home and family, as well as the home and family of other people. It is important to make sure that they understand all benefits in regards to what you have to offer.
Becoming a successful MLM recruit, means understanding just what your potential recruits are looking for. Do not make false claims, do not exaggerate, and always be honest.

Interesting post Jaz,
While I am a firm believer in recruiting, I also believe that it is important for a distributor to be able to make money without recruiting. I have distributors in my company that make a six figure income SIMPLY by retailing the product.
The bottom line is no matter how great our products are, people are attracted to this industry because of the money that you can make. However, what happens if you haven’t made any money? Isn’t it a little more difficult to recruit someone if you haven’t made any money?
However, if you can make money just by retaining the product, now you can create your story and it makes you a more attractive recruiter. It’s one thing to say hey this company is great and I’m hoping to make some money soon. It’s another thing to say, just last week I made an extra $500 doing this business part time.
For as long as I’ve been in the industry there has always been an ongoing debate as to whether you should lead with the product or lead with the opportunity. My response has always been the same simple response.
I do both.
There are some situations in which I lead with the product first. For example, I do a lot of pay per click advertising for my MLM business. I create PPC ads in which I lead with the product so that people searching for my product will find my web site and contact me. They sign up as a customer first and then I share with them about the opportunity.
I also purchase a lot of business opportunity leads as well. These are people who have raised their hands and said that they are looking for a business opportunity. For those people, I lead with the opportunity. I talk about why they want to get involved in an opportunity, what would they do with the extra income, etc. I share my story with them, etc and then when I expose them to one of my company tools, they learn about the product as well as the opportunity at that point.

For me, “The company should be able to sell itself essentially” sums it all up.
With that in mind I am very fortunate to have a (flash)video presentation; It is brief and to the point.
Rare if at all will I say anything until a prospect has viewed the video. For one, if they cannot dedicate themselves to a 6 minute presentation I do not see how they could be successful in business.
