Email marketing is one of the easiest ways to manage a list of network marketing prospects and downlines. In fact, there are so many ways that people can make money from their downlines (and prospects that didn’t join their business) that many people prefer to build a mailing list instead of a downline! (They say that they prefer to focus on building a down-LIST rather than a downline because it is very profitable). Gone are the days of making money through only one source of income which is from the network marketing company.

By leveraging on the Internet, you can contact your list, send promotions, automate support tasks and even schedule E-courses or tutorials to guide your people (after all, the money is in the list). You do so by collecting leads into your autoresponder.

Here are a number of ways you can drive traffic with Email marketing:

- It is more important to build a list with quality rather than a list with quantity for the reason being that it takes slightly longer to mail out to a very huge (and unresponsive) list and different autoresponders charge you more money for maintaining a larger list. If you want to build a quality list, you must always focus on education and making sure that they are informed enough in order to succeed. You can do so by writing a 10 day E-course (or less) and educate them on everything they need to know about network marketing. Of course, you can’t help everyone succeed but you can increase the quality of your list

- Once you contact your list through your email blasts, make sure you keep on redirecting them to your sales letters (for your products), our affiliate links, and your online network marketing communities or even your network marketing blog. The goal is to get them to come to your website and create that habit within them so that next time when you want to promote your products, they will listen to you out of habit and buy your products.

- Get your network marketing downlines in your list to BUILD your list. Offer them affiliate commissions (or if you are in a two-tier affiliate program) for your products. Network marketing is all about word of mouth so by getting them to build your list, you can exponentially increase the amount of traffic you can use to direct to your website.

Remember, it is not so much about the size of your list but also the relationship you have with your list that will determine how successful you are in network marketing.
