154-Increase Your Profit Through Constant LearningInvesting in your education is one of the most important aspects of attaining success in network marketing.

Let me share with you my personal experience. When I first started out, I knew next to nothing about list building. I built my network from scratch, by showing one plan at a time.

As time moved on, I started sponsoring new reps into my company, but people were dropping out. I realized that the reason why my downlines were dropping out was because they did not learn more about the industry.

They thought that entering and conquering the network marketing industry is an easy affair and that is why they never bothered to educate themselves. By the time they found out that the network marketing industry requires a lot of hard work and education, they have given up on their dream.

In my opinion, investing in your education requires you to read a lot of self-improvement books and industry related books. Books like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki… these are very good books that will help you to expand your mind and think outside the box. Other books such as Copycat Marketing 101 and The Questions Are The Answers are all very good books on network marketing and it’s topics are the bread and butter for any network marketer.

For me personally, my understanding of network marketing has evolved since I started building my business online. Learning skills such as list building, creating my own info products and buying traffic has greatly benefited me. I no longer build my network marketing business by meeting my prospects face to face all the time (I still do, but most of the time, they are the ones who come to me instead of me going to them!)

At the end of the day, I’ve learned that you really have to spend time and money investing in your education if you want to take your skills to the next level. People who usually think that they have ‘arrived’ normally still have a very, very long way to go.

At anytime, if you feel that you are not growing for a long time, you have to sit down and examine yourself – are you merely stagnating? Or in actual fact, are you going in the reverse direction because there is really no such thing as stagnation because every individual in the world is moving forward!

    I completely agree with your take on education. People often believe what they want to believe and think that home businesses or network marketing will be the answer to their dreams. It can be, but it requires work and effort and education to do it smartly.

    That’s right. I myself spend at least $4-5000 per year learning.
    With this, I am able to get 400% more in return.
