Hi Jaz,

Very well put! If there's no cash flow, the new recruit dies quickly, and that, I believe, explains the 90-97% failure rate that I see so frequently in books and articles about network marketing. When you can solve that for self and others, you are on your way to serving others and as Zig Ziglar said "You Can Only Get What You Want, If You Help Enough Other People Get What They Want."

All the best,

Alan

Good post, Jaz. Since most network marketers have no "network" and they don't know anything about "marketing", the chips are stacked against them right out of the chute.

If you believe the BS you see on Facebook, everybody is making money on the net. It's all BS of course. I bet that not 1 in 20 of the people who claim they're raking in the dough with "their system" and "their product" are making any money.

I know. I've been there. Luckily, it doesn't have to be that way...

I agree with you that MLM companies only want you to do things their way mate. To truly be successful in this industry you have to think outside the box and take a different approach when it comes to promoting your product and/or opportunity.

I have to agree with you. Most of the people who want to make it big here are the "working poor". Also, I guess we all have that scam story - being scammed by someone (maybe even a friend or family member) who wanted us to get into a quick rich mlm business that was all talk. I'm excited to read your solution. Will continue reading your next article. :)

I agree with the blog. Alot of these MLM Companies are
all about hype and empty promises with little or no
support. The heavy hitters are already established with
large mailing lists and financially they can run those
full page ads. If there is a low cost solution that can
give the average hardworking individual a fair chance,
that would be great.

Hey Jaz, you hit the nail on the coffin. Network Marketing is not a JOB; it's about getting others to their prosperity point with positive relationships. The MLM companies don't tell you that Cashflow is very important. They want you to focus on the 100 list of names instead. Thanks for the clarification Jaz..

Hi Jaz and you the reader of this post,

The typical MLM pay plan does not give the average Joe and average Jane a chance.

They get lured into MLM thinking it is "marketing" and NO selling.

In order to get that Cash flow, something has to be sold. Period.

If you cannot sell squat, let your upline do the selling and closing for you.

Do not believe that the automated whiz bang distributor website will do the selling for you because if it did, the company would NOT need you.

First of all find a company that has been in business long enough but NEW in a niche.

Second, find that company with a product that WORKS - so you do not have to apologize to your friends and family and their referrals. You will have ENDLESS referrals if your product works.

Third, find that company with a compensation plan that does NOT rely on you finding "diamonds" on your downline. If you are good in selling, an equitable compensation plan with commission overrides should give you a decent income and lifestyle.

Finally, find a mentor and coach who can guide you by the hand until you know the ropes. Then have that expert mentor and coach your downline to duplicate yourself. Do NOT attempt to mentor or coach yourself unless you have that special gift and training of mentoring and coaching. The mentoring and coaching process will give you that breakthrough.

You should consider that new opportunity only if you can get quality mentoring and coaching. Otherwise, keep your day job.
