I’ve personally struggled with this since the beginning of my Internet marketing career. After all, every network marketer wants the same thing – more downlines and more customers.

I will show you a number of ways that you can exponentially increase the number of leads you can get every single day without even getting out of your house. And all these methods utilize the Internet.

The search engines like Google and Yahoo! are some of the best sources of lead generation because it forms the basis of organic Internet traffic. What do you think is the first thing that someone does when they are looking for something online? Very simple – they just Google it! This goes to show how targeted search engine traffic is. People who are searching for a particular keyword will most likely be a good prospect for your network marketing business.

Another close cousin of organic search engine traffic is paid search engine traffic. When you pay for traffic, you get almost instant results. You do not need to wait weeks or months before your website or your blog appears on the first page of Google. You can buy clicks and traffic and control your budget and what keywords you are targeting.

Besides search engine traffic, you can also find a lot of other ways to generate leads using mailing lists and newsletter subscriptions. A newsletter is a very good way to keep in touch with your prospects and you can use it to build relationships. Building relationships with your prospects is a very good way to gain trust and build rapport because a lot of network marketing reps out there lack proper discernment when it comes to pitching the offer. They do not ‘pre-sell’ enough to get people interested in their opportunity. I believe that most people fail in this area and you must find a way to take advantage of autoresponders to build relationships on autopilot.

You can also use banner advertising on blogs, websites, social networking platforms and even membership sites to get the word out. After all, people prefer to click on pictures compared to lines of texts.

At the end of the day, you need to tweak and test which of these methods will work for you. Generating network marketing leads is one thing but what you do with them afterwards is a totally different matter so.
